THE WEEKLY MONSTER

IMAG0088_edit0

Says it all really:) Scalpel, pencil and brushes. I forgot the ink and pen, but this is mostly what I use. In theory I can do my job from anywhere, because the equipment I use doesn’t take up much space. And for sending work to clients I always bring with me my light little pink laptop and light scanner that runs on my computers batteries. I have been working with deadlines for illustrations from my sisters student home in Rome, a wedding in Trondheim, in the car from A to B, in my family’s boat, many airports, and at two different festivals in the lavvu. Last friday evening at Flesland going away for the weekend I was working too. Sometimes I really wish that all deadlines in the world at some point DIDN’T collide. But I like it too. It’s good to feel wanted in my job, and sometimes the work I produce under preassure is more exciting than if I have loads of time.

Don’t get me wrong, I do have spare time, only that when one project is rolling it’s easier to start other things as well. I get more energy from working, and then whoooops I did it again;)

Takk for at du deler.
